What does "certified" mean? Certified status is extended to chiropractic physicians and students who choose to undergo a 36-hour certification course, take and pass written and practical examinations administered at and by officials at National College of Chiropractic. Some students take this as a full course in school and must then only take the second 18 hours and the examinations to become certified.
What are benefits of seeking care from a certified practitioner? Comfort in knowing that this doctor has taken the extra time and commitment to learning this technique more fully. A network of physicians who practice similarly and have a network of other physicians with whom to consult and to whom they can refer patients who move, travel, or have relatives who need care.
How do I find a "certified" practitioner? Contact Julie or Dr. Dana Lawrence , Dean of Post-Grad, at the National College. We can look up physicians by name, city/state with phone area code.
